To my shock and dismay, after checking my 5 powerball tickets, I got exactly 2 of the winning numbers on all of the tickets combined! So I did not win the $340 million and I will in fact not be sleeping for a week straight, in which I planned had I won. I guess I’ll have to stick to my 5 hours sleep a night instead. Damn it!!

Astros bounced back from their tough loss the other night and beat St. Louis and Houston advanced to the World Series for the first time in the teams 44 years in existance. The series should be pretty good, neither team has a great lineup and both of their pitching staffs lineup perfectly.

Now that I’m working all day, I must say, having something to do really makes the day fly by. Hopefully it will continue to be the case.

Might be going to Giants/Broncos game on Sunday. There is a bit of a ticket snafu, but it should be resolved tomorrow. The weather calls for rain but lets hope thats not the case. Even if I don’t go it’s not a big deal because my Steelers have a huge game at the up and coming Bengals.

Having not yet gotten a new car to replace the one I slammed into a telephone pole, I unfortunately am always having to get driven to and picked up by someone. Not controlling your comings and goings sucks.

Tomorrow, after about 6 weeks away from work due to my accident and the injuries I suffered, I go back to work full time. I’m sure when that alarm goes off early in the morning it will be rude awakening because I haven’t gotten up very early in a long ass time. I’m actually looking forward to having something to do because finding stuff to fill my days had become excruciating. At least now the days will be full and the time should pass quickly. But I am gonna be damn tired because I haven’t been doin’ nuttin!

Let me tell you, there is nothing good on tv at 3:26am in the morning.

Well, at the least I need it to sleep .

Not really, but it helped in the hospital.

But I don’t miss the hospital.

Probably don’t need to say that, I mean who misses the hospital.

Though some of the nurses were pretty cute.

I could do this all night, actually, all morning.

Enough already!

Coffee ice cream is damn good. I don’t know why it took me so long to realize this.

This morning I go to the hospital and get set free! No longer will I have a wired jaw or will I be subject to eating smoothie after smoothie or a bowl of tomato soup as a complete meal, and through a damn straw don’t forget!. Of course they have to put me under to remove the metal brackets that are lining my jaw, but the procedure should only take about 1 hour. The doctor said I’ll be sore for a while, but hopefully by the first pitch of Tuesday nights Yankee/Angel playoff game I’ll be able to put down a nice meal and a cold brew. Hard to believe it has been over 1 month and 20 pounds since I last ate like a human. Now if I can only fast forward the healing on my effed up wrist so I could remove this damn brace and actually be able to function again. Soon enough I guess.

Well, I’m on my 3rd week of having my jaw wired shut and I have basically reached my lifetime quota for eating smoothies. Everymeal consists of some kind of soup, mainly tomato, followed by dreams of a pizza or steak. I’ve already lost a staggering 19lbs and with my jaw wired for 2 more weeks, that number will continue to climb.

My days are pretty damn boring, I wake around 8:30am everyday after each crappy nightsleep. For some reason I break into a sweat in the middle of everynight which has it’s way of making sleep suck. I then watch the same crappy tv for a few hours while surfing around the net. Of course I have to use the mouse with my left hand while my broken right hand heals. So using a computer gets annoying after about 20 minutes. I begin therapy on my hand next week, I’m really looking forward to that, let me tell ya.

Things could definetly be worse though, so excuse my heavy dose of sarcasm. I’ll be 100% soon enough, though I doubt any of my clothes will fit my newly dwarfed frame.

Most of you probably know by now, but 8 nights ago I was in a pretty bad car accident. I was in the hopital for a week trying to heal from my injuries from it. Anyway, I sufferred a broken right hand that needed a pin and a screw in it. I also shattered my jaw which needed a plate put into my skull to fix it and then the jaw had to be wired shut, which believe me, I’m dreading as of now. For the 1st 2 days the doctors were very concerned that i broke some bones in my back, but thankfully that turned out to be wrong. I have a few other injuries, bruises, cuts and lacerations, but none to serious, I will be lacking updates to this site as a result of my accident.

Let me just say thanks to all my family and friends who have come to visit, sent me a card or basket and altogether had me in their prayers during this tough stretch.

It’s way too nice outside lately and 4th of July is a week away so this site is the last thing on my mind. Therefore my posts will be few and far between for the forseeable future. Big deal. I will still be posting daily links though.
I’m out.

Today should be a good one. A luxury bus trip to Mohegan Sun. Some Gambling. A possible Judas Pries/Queensryche concert. Some boozing. Some more gambling. Hit the casino bars which are suprisingly very good. Who knows when it will end but it is guaranteed to deliver. Or so I thought it would.

Then tomorrow a full day of highly competetive wiffleball games. Nothing is bette than the hot sun, some wiffleballs and some ice cold beers!

I didn’t get home until 4:30am. So I did nothing all day.

I’m too sick and busy lately to post anything. But today’s Friday so…..
